Music Together® - Priority Registration FAQs


When is the Winter Session of Music Together?

Winter 2019 session begins the week of January 6th through March 16th (10 weeks in total).  We will be using the Drums collection!


When is Priority Registration for the Spring Session of Music Together?

Priority Registration begins the week of October 22nd and ends November 3rd.


Am I eligible for Priority Registration?

Only families who are currently enrolled in the Fall Session of Music Together are eligible for Priority Registration for the Spring session.  All other families must wait until Open Registration, even if you've taken classes with Twinkle Together in a previous session.


Can I use the Website to register during Priority Registration?

No.  All registrations during Priority Registration must be completed through the payment link in your Payment Request email.


What is a Payment Request email?

The Payment Request email is emailed to all families eligible for Priority Registration.  Winter Priority Registration Payment Request emails will be sent to families on Monday, October 22nd at 9:00 am.  This email will list the students and the classes for which you will register for the Winter Session.  It also includes a payment link to pay for your class.


What do I do if I want to stay in my same class from Fall Session to Winter Session?

  • If you want to stay in your same class from Fall session, please use the link in the Payment Request email, which you will receive on October 22nd.  
  • In most cases siblings have been accounted for in your tuition.  If you have a sibling who is not accounted for on your payment request, please contact admin@twinkletogether.com. Siblings 9 months and under at the time of registration can audit the class tuition-free with a paying older sibling, but we do ask that they appear on the roster for licensing purposes; however, our billing system will not recognize a student with a $0 balance, so you may not see your auditing child listed.
  • If you have taken advantage of our referral credit program, this will also be reflected in the tuition balance.  
  • If you would like to donate to our scholarship fund, you may contact us at admin@twinkletogether.com to add that to your payment request or you can bring your donation to your teacher in class. 

Payment request links will no longer be active after November 3rd. If you do not register during the Priority Registration window, you will then need to wait until Open Registration on November 7th and choose from available classes.  

Please do not attempt to use the registration page on the website as it will not be activated until Open Registration begins on November 7th at 9:00 am. By clicking on the link in the Payment Request email and submitting payment you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.


What do I do if I want to change to a different class day, time, teacher, or location for the Winter Session?

  • If you want to transfer to another class, you will still need to use the payment link in the Payment Request email (to be sent on October 22nd) to pay for your current seat. Since all of our classes are currently full and we are saving seats for the families who are currently enrolled in the class, we cannot place you in the class immediately.
  • All transfer (waitlist) requests must be accompanied by a payment for class through the Payment Request email. Please review the notes above to ensure your payment request reflects the correct tuition and registered students. Please contact us with any changes or updates. 
  • Then, you will need to email admin@twinkletogether.com to request to be placed on a waitlist for your desired class. Transfer requests with a completed payment are entered on the wait list in the order received.  Visit our class schedule to view class offerings.
  • Please be patient-- seats for wait list classes will not be confirmed until after the priority registration period ends (after November 3rd). If a seat does not come available in your waitlisted class, you will still have a seat in your current class.  All class notifications/enrollment confirmations will be sent Tuesday, November 6th..

Payment request links will no longer be active after November 3rd.  If you do not register during the Priority Registration window, you will then need to wait until Open Registration on November 7th at 9:00 am and choose from available classes.

I really enjoy Music Together but our class time isn't working for our family any more.  Is it better to request to change classes during Priority Registration or just wait until Open Registration?

During Priority Registration would be an ideal time to request to move classes.  We typically see movement in many of our classes and seats do come open during Priority Registration.  As long as you pay for your registration and send us an email request during the Priority Registration period, we will attempt to accommodate a class change request.  If your first choice class does not have an opening, we will reach out to you for a second choice.  We are typically able to accommodate most class change requests during Priority Registration.  Once Priority Registration ends and we enter the Open Registration window, all registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.


I need to change my time for the next session.  My payment request only gives me the option of paying for my current class.  What should I do?

Since all of our classes are currently full and we are saving seats for the families who are currently enrolled in the class, we cannot place you in a new class immediately.  We are unable to process class change request that are not accompanied by payment for the class. When you email us of your class change request and you have submitted payment for the next session, we will place you on the wait list for your requested class.  We see a lot of movement between classes during priority registration and often seats open up in our classes.  However, in some cases a seat does not open up in your requested class.  We can place you in your same class as your current session or we can work together to find a class time that has openings that works for your schedule. In the end, if we cannot find seats open that work for your schedule, we will issue you a refund, provided you let us know before the session begins.


What if I submit a class change request and a seat doesn't open up?

I have a younger child who is 9 months or younger at the time of Priority Registration.  What do I need to do to make sure I can bring my baby to class with their older sibling?

Congratulations!  We love having all members of the family involved in the music-making process and we encourage you to bring your newest addition to your family to Music Together, but we do ask that you add your younger child to the roster for our licensing purposes.  Your child may audit the class tuition-free with a paying older sibling.  Once you have submitted your payment for your class, you will receive enrollment confirmation emails for all registered students, including auditing babies.  If you do not receive an enrollment confirmation email for your auditing child, please contact us at admin@twinkletogether.com and send us your baby's name and date of birth and we will add them to the roster. 


I don't see my auditing baby listed on the payment request but I registered my auditing baby for the previous session.  What should I do?

Our billing system will not generate a payment request for a student with a $0 balance.  Your auditing baby is still on the roster for the class and when you complete payment for your older child you will see both children listed on the enrollment confirmation email.  If you do not see all of your children listed on the enrollment confirmation, please email us at admin@twinkletogether.com.


What happens if I miss the Priority Registration window?

We would still love to have you join us!  Once the Priority Registration window has closed we have a limited amount of time to sort through our wait lists and settle all of our classes for Open Registration.  Unfortnately, we will not be able to hold your seat in your current class once the Priority Registration window has closed.  We invite you to register using the website during Open Registration, which will begin on November 3rd.  Registrations during Open Registration can be made for classes with seats still availble and are on a first-come, first-served basis.


What if we will not be joining you for the Winter Session of Music Together? 

We are sad to see you go!  Please let us know so we can free up your spot and if you don't mind letting us know why, we appreciate the feedback.
